San Diego

Left for San Diego at 5:00 am Wednesday, October 28th. Had a smooth ride down and arrived about 3:30 pm. Beautiful ride as we enjoyed the view of the coast, especially La Jolla and the bay coming into San Diego. The bay has a lot of sailboats and military ships. We arrived at Cabrillo Isle Marina, in a 15'8" slip with a 15' foot wide boat which made it VERY tight! We enjoyed exploring the Liberty Station area on our bikes and visited with some friends that live in the area. Took a boat ride out on the bay on Saturday under the Coronado bridge. Spent a bit of time in Little Italy, which has great restaurants. Rented a car and drove up to Point Loma National Cementary. Very beautiful and peaceful place. We left on Monday morning, Nov. 2nd. We love San Diego and look forward to doing more exploring next time were in town!
