We spent two weeks in our favorite spot, Santa Barbara. The marina there is great, it is a perfect location and a bustling place. It was so enjoyable experiencing Santa Barbara from the marina side of things. Last February we spent the month here in a airbnb. We arrived here on the morning of September 21st. We used our folding electric bikes a lot here, for groceries and running around town. We met some new friends in the marina, spent a lot of time at the beach, and ate at some great restaurants. Our last night, Oct. 2nd, was Darryn's 50th birthday. We had a wonderful last day and headed out the next morning to the Santa Cruz Island, one of the famous Channel Islands. We spent the night and had fun exploring the shore and anchoring among the beautiful rock formations. There is tons of marine life here but we didn't have our kayaks yet to get the right places to snorkel. Next time!
