Puerto Los Cabos is a great location! We are only about 40 minutes from Cabo San Lucas, but up the coast a bit where it is beautiful and a bit more quiet. Many very nice  resorts along this part of coast, and San Jose del Cabo (close by) is a great town for authentic dining and shopping. I finally bought a straw hat here! (a necessity in the heat of Mexico). We have had such a great time exploring our marina and surrounding grounds, which has a fantastic private beach in a small bay with outdoor food and drink service from a cute little outpost cafe of the hotel. The hotel is called El Ganzo, on the marina site as well, and I love it! It is decorated really cool and the food is really good. Our friends from Dana Point, Dawn and Tom, are staying in central Cabo at their vacation place so we have had a few fantastic dinners with them. We drove to Cabo to see their beautiful place overlooking the ocean. See picture below of Murf (deep in thought!) looking over their Infiniti pool...

We have also spent a lot of time with our Nordhavn friends, dining out and doing happy hours on the boats. We had a great Thanksgiving with them at El Ganzo, and also did two amazing dinners at Flora Farms and Acre. Both of these places are up away from the ocean and are fabulous outdoor restaurants. Flora Farms is an actual organic farm, and has shops and fractional ownership villas. The grounds are gorgeous. We met a nice couple from Vancouver (friends of friends) and visited them at their cottage at Flora, beautiful!

Acre is on land that looks like a jungle. They have tree house rooms for rent, villas for sale, and also have a gorgeous outdoor restaurant. Two partners from Vancouver own the place. No shortage of great dining here! Lots of fish, mezcal, tequila and beer!

Our Nordhavn friends left to go to Barra de Navidad, Mexico (across the Baja on the mainland) on December 1st, and we are staying here until December 5th. We fly back to Minneapolis for an early Christmas with the kids, and tie up some loose ends, then onward home to Vancouver. We will be back to Mexico at the end of Jan or early Feb. This will be the last post until then, so adios amigas and familia! Feliz Navidad!
